THE STRUCTURE OF THE STATE ADMINISTRATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND NATURAL RESOURCES: the mission and functions and the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its departments and sub- committees. 1 LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORK: the principal pieces of environmental legislation ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan corresponding with international environmental conventions and protocols; detailed information on the Ecological Law Codex and its principal directions; additional environmental regulatory documentation. 2 amending the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to comply with legislation enacted in nations with developed envirnonmental standards and their further practical implementation in Kazakhstan. PRIMARY STRATEGIC AND PROGRAM DOCUMENTATION OUTLINING BOTH THE DIRECTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL INFRASTRUCTURE: 3 INFORMATION ON STATE BUDGET RECEIPTS AND EXPENDITURES AFFECTING ENVIRONMENTAL MEASURES: budget revenues and the purposes they are allocated for. 4 PERMITS: STATE ENVIRONMENTAL EXPERTISE AND ENVIRONMENTAL forms and capacity of environmental expertise in Kazakhstan, its objectives and stated evaluations. 5 CONTROL: STATE governmental environmental control regulatory measures; results of environmental inspections conducted. 6 MONITORING: what is it and which forms does it take in Kazakhstan. 7 ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING: explaining which environmental settings are overseen in this framework; in which population centers and commercial enterprises monitoring was conducted; what are the results of monitoring and where are they published. 8 RADIATION MONITORING: listing the radiological studies which have been conducted and to what extent, and whether observations of exceedances of established secure standards. 9 INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: outlining the efforts of the Republic of Kazakhstan to implement international standards in addressing the management and protection of the natural environment as laid out in international agreements and aspects of interstate cooperation. 10 outlining environmental education, its stages and forms and environmental projects and sector development, and earmarked funding and other grants available for these. ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: 11 mechanisms that regulate public access to environmental information and private citizen involvment in the decision- making process affecting the natural environment. PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT IN DECISION-MAKING AND ACCESS TO ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: 12 The 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, unanimously adopted by world leaders in 2015, its goals and objectives; activities and success stories from Kazakhstan within the framework of this agenda.
